“Two Questions” is one of my all time favorite essays. I keep giving it to my first-year composition English students, as part of a writing assignment. I’m curious — where did you get the book?

This piece appears in Lynda’s book “What It Is.” If you liked it, you will probably like that books as well. It’s part autobiography, part workbook for writers, and part ideas about writing and art. It’s all awesome.
(It also appears in the McSweeney’s Graphic Novel issue—#13, I think—but What It Is is better.)

I love Lynda!
Can someone help and tell me what point is Lynda trying to make? i do not understand her and it is really frustrating. I just cannot find the answer!
