I have to confess. Lately I have been a bit obsessed with YOUTUBE. No, I am not obsessed with such popular videos as “Lonelygirl” or the ones that are viewed most often. No. I have been watching videos that talk about such things as:
the truth about 9/11, President Bush’s lies, Keith Olbermann’s commentaries. Sounds serious? It is. Want to find “other news” than what you get on TV? Go online. There is too much. I know. I am just scratching the surface of the surface. But even that, many people don’t do. So I am sharing with you what I find. Do I believe it all? That is not the point right now. I don’t know if I believe it all. What I do know is that it is ok to ask questions and research. There are some people who make very quick decisions about what they believe. I am not one of these people. But I am one who believes in opening my eyes. To some I may be opening them too much. To others, not enough. But I am a thinker and a feeler. I think there is a lot in this world that we don’t know about, or choose not to know about. I think the information is out there thanks to the Internet. I think I can not yet make decisions as to whom or what I believe. I think I have the freedom to do my own research, share it with others and create a conversation.
I feel that it is easy to close my eyes because I am safe and I am not directly affected by much of what is discussed and thought about in the world. I could never pretend to know what it feels like to lose a loved one in a way that is cruel and inhumane. But maybe one day I will. I can imagine being a person like that one day. And only then will I wake up?
Some of the wives of 9/11 victims woke up after the tragedies and created a group that questioned the truths about 9/11. A documentary film was made based on their questions. The 9/11 Commission was created because of their continuous unanswered questions. I watched that documentary yesterday. Here is a link to its homepage:
You can rent it on Netflix or any other video rental. I suggest you watch it.
I have always been a curious person. My friends and family know that. Right now, I am curious about what really happened on 9/11. I am not suddenly waking up. I am just choosing to open my eyes and look with an open mind and heart. Maybe I don’t believe everything I see, but I still watch and listen. It is hard to believe some of the things I see and read. But that doesn’t mean it is not true.
Does the mainstream Media tell us everything? We know the answer is a loud sounding NO! Information comes out sporadically on tv. There are some people on Youtube who take the time to gather information that you may miss on tv or is not ever shown.
For example:
Here are some interesting videos questioning the collapse of WTC7 and the Twin Towers:
Here is another interesting report on what happened at the Twin Towers just before 9/11:
Lastly, here is an interview with a General about the Pentagon attack:
That’s it for now. Just a little Sunday morning food for thought.
